What is Giving Tuesday?
 
Giving Tuesday is a global movement that encourages people to give back to their communities through acts of generosity. Celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving in the United States, it provides an opportunity for individuals, nonprofits, and businesses to come together to support important causes and make a difference.

The Association of Women Construction Workers of American (AWCWA) is dedicated to empowering women and promoting equality, education, and social justice. On Giving Tuesday, AWCWA focuses its efforts on raising awareness and funds to support its programs and initiatives that uplift women and girls in the construction and related Industries.

Construction & Workplace Compliance

AWCWA actively organizes networking events for employment opportunities for job seeking individuals. As a designated partner with United States Department of Labor's Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs, AWCWA assists contractors in meeting federal compliance requirements related to the employment of women and minorities. Our agency role is to provide contractors with access to a qualified and diverse workforce, ensuring they meet compliance standards. We contribute to the broader goal of equal employment opportunities and workforce diversity in the construction industry.
